WHAT I BELIEVE

Centered on Jesus, United in the Gospel As a follower of Jesus, my faith is built on the unshakable foundation of Christ crucified, risen, and returning. I am passionate about seeing people encounter the love and power of God — not just in church buildings, but everywhere people gather. I come from a Pentecostal background, and I fully believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit today — in gifts, miracles, signs and wonders — but my heart burns to see the whole body of Christ stand together on what unites us: the gospel of Jesus Christ. In a time when it’s easy to divide over secondary issues, I choose to stand on the core truths that have shaped the global church for over 2,000 years. I want to work alongside brothers and sisters from all streams — evangelical, charismatic, liturgical, reformed — united in Jesus, for the sake of the Great Commission.

The Foundation of My Faith I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God — true, trustworthy, and the ultimate authority in life and doctrine. I believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — eternally existing in perfect unity. I believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. I believe that Jesus is the only way to the Father, and that the gospel is the power of God for the salvation of all who believe. I believe the Church is called to proclaim this gospel to the ends of the earth, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to follow Jesus. I believe in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live holy lives and boldly share the gospel. I believe in the return of Jesus Christ — our blessed hope — when He will judge the living and the dead, and establish His kingdom fully and forever.

The Apostles’ Creed To express this shared faith, I stand with the historic, global Church in affirming the Apostles’ Creed, a confession that unites believers across denominations, traditions, and generations: I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. (Note: The word "catholic" refers to the universal Church — all believers in Jesus across history and nations.)

Committed to Revival and Reformation While my heart burns for revival — to see millions encounter Jesus in power — I also long for reformation. Revival without discipleship fades, and experience without truth drifts. That’s why I hold fast to the Bible, embrace the Spirit, and stand with the historic creeds and confessions that have anchored the Church through every storm. Jesus prayed in John 17 that we would be one — so the world would know He was sent by the Father. I want to be part of the answer to that prayer, linking arms with every believer who lifts high the name of Jesus, regardless of denomination.
